Job Description
Cianbro is seeking a Human Resource (HR) Administrative Specialist to join our growing team. This position is based in our Pittsfield Corporate Office. The role will be responsible for providing support primarily with regard to employee records and recruiting and hiring. The role will provide the opportunity to grow responsibilities over time.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain and update reports for daily, weekly, and monthly tracking.
Support a variety of HR functions including data entry, research, writing, preparing presentations, and file storage.
Works cooperatively with members of the entire HR Staff as well as other departments and team members.
Prepare and maintain employment records.
Document control for our new hires.
Guide our new hires through the entire hiring process once handed off from Recruiters/Hiring Managers.
Schedule post offer screenings, trainings, assessments and orientation.
School visits with recruiters promoting Cianbro to students.
Occasional job fair support.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
Associates Degree in Business or Office Administration and 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
Ability to prioritize time-sensitive material ensuring high priority items are expedited and routed based on urgency.
Must possess extremely high ethical standards, and the ability to maintain the confidentiality of all data and files.
Possess outstanding organizational skills, including working on simultaneous projects and issues.
Portray a positive professional image to the public, our client and our team members.
Should be detail-oriented, thorough and enjoy taking the initiative.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of Products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, as well as Adobe.
Strong sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
