Job Description
ReVision Energy’s Companywide Engineering team is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team. This would be a full-time position, with a weekly in-office presence. The ideal candidate will be located within Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Maine, and can commute 2 days per week to South Portland, ME and 1 day per week to Brentwood, NH.

Job Summary: The Engineering Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of highly skilled engineering staff while ensuring that company objectives and goals are met. This will include direct oversight of an existing team of 15, with a top priority of growing that team in the coming 3 years to support the continued growth and expansion of ReVision Energy’s Commercial PV, Residential PV, EV and BESS teams in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Supervisory Responsibilities:+ Oversees engineering staff and ensures that they meet goals and objectives.
+ Support Team Leads with planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily workflow of engineering teams.
+ Serve as the driving force for hiring additional engineering staff, collaborating with HR on job descriptions, compensation, candidate interviews.
+ Participate in annual performance evaluations, collaborating with team leads on follow up and goal setting for current and future Engineering team members.
+ Coordinate and support training and mentoring as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:+ Facilitates communication among engineering team (engineers, designers, CAD drafters), ensuring team relationships exist that are clear and project specifications and budgets requirements are understood.
+ Serve as a liaison between engineering, operations, sales, and development heads for communication with other ReVision departments and teams, including planning, coordinating, facilitating, and follow up.
+ Establish, implement, document, and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and standards.
+ In collaboration with Director of Technology, prepare and execute departmental budget.
+ Support team improvement on skills, knowledge, expertise and tool mastery to achieve ReVision Energy’s goals and initiatives.
+ Support engineering Team Leads and individual contributors with setting and tracking quarterly priorities.
+ Proactively engage RETC (ReVision Energy Training Center) team for ongoing training and support for the engineering team.
+ Inspire and retain co-owners by making work fun and satisfying and by fostering an environment of connection, trust, and respect.

Education and Experience:+ Bachelor’s degree in Leadership, Engineering, or relevant field.
+ At least five years of related experience required.
+ 2-4 years’ experience leading direct reports
Physical Requirements:+ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
+ Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
