Job Description

Job Responsibilities
Day-to-day preventative maintenance and repair of all types of heavy equipment including cranes, dirt, and other heavy construction equipment.
Inspect machines, engines, transmissions, etc., and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
Complete understanding of all aspects of heavy equipment repairs and rebuild process.
Responsible for inspection, repairs, and performing an operational and pre-ship check on all units prior to shipment to job sites.
Perform thorough maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Continually maintain an organized, clean work area.
Responsible for completing daily activity plans, identifying, and mitigating job hazards, and developing and meeting schedules.
Qualifications/Requirements
Must provide your own tools.
A minimum of 5 years experience as a mechanic and/or a combination of technical education and mechanical experience.
Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components.
S/he must pay attention to detail, be a self-starter, and be able to communicate effectively with clients and peers.
A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.
Must have excellent problem-solving abilities.
