ReVision Energy’s Solar Foundations Division is looking for a Solar Foundation Installer/Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This position will require a local presence and requires significant daily travel.
Wages starting at $23.00 per hour. ABOUT THE POSITION:The Solar Foundation Installer/Equipment Operator will assist the Solar Foundation Project Manager with carrying out the complete installation of steel micro pile foundations using high quality compact equipment and drill rigs.
Operations will focus primarily on foundations for ReVision Energy’s ground-mounted photovoltaic systems as well as sub-contracted work for external solar and construction contractors throughout northern New England. Projects will range in size from small residential installations to large commercial off-sites. This position may include, but is not limited to, loading and transportation of equipment and materials, heavy equipment spotting and operation, on-site loading and unloading of material and equipment, site preparation and layout, site work and grading, trenching, mechanical driving of steel piles and ground screws, rock drilling, and providing general support as needed.
The position involves significant daily travel within your branch territory as well as some extended overnights and time working throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts Monday-Friday. This position offers Full-Time work during a roughly nine-month installation season April through December. Some part-time off-season work will be required for planning and to carry out storage, maintenance, and upgrades to machines, trucks, trailers, and the shop. Additional work may be available in other Revision departments depending on their need.
Role and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):+ Loading and securing job-specific components and equipment on trucks and trailers to ensure all necessary tools and materials arrive safely at job sites.
+ Safely driving trucks, trailers, and equipment to and from job sites.
+ Supporting the onsite project manager in the complete installation of driven post and ground screw foundations.
+ Assisting in site layout and strategy and staging job materials accordingly.
+ Operating drill masts for down-the-hole-hammer (DTH) rock drilling.
+ Operating compact track loaders (skid steers).
+ Operating compact excavators
+ Operating forklifts, lulls, and other material handling equipment
+ Carrying out trenching, grading, and material handling as needed
+ Operating and monitoring diesel air compressors during drilling operations.
+ Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues in the field.
+ Assisting in preventative and routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
+ Keeping trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and organized.
+ Maintaining vehicle inventories.
+ Maintaining respectful, professional, and responsive relationships with customers and co-workers at all times.
+ Maintaining knowledge of safe construction work practices and procedures including OSHA and Dig Safe requirements.
+ Ensuring trucks and equipment are neatly, safely, and securely stored at the end of each workday.
Critical Skills/Expectations:+ Clean and valid driver’s license.
+ Experience driving trucks with trailers.
+ Flexibility with schedule and ability to spend extended time away from home Monday through Friday as needed.

Additional Qualifications (desired but not required):
+ 6 months previous experience in the solar industry.
+ 6 months previous experience operating compact or heavy equipment.
+ OSHA 10-hour safety certification.
+ Commercial Driver’s License (Class A).
+ Forklift and/or Lull certification.
