Flexible Schedules: 4 or 5 days per week

32 – 40 hours per week – Benefit Eligible Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 QUALIFICATIONS

+ LPN, Certified Ortho Technician, MA with completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; Or equivalent criteria minimum of 2+ years MA experience in a physician medical practice required

+ LPN current Maine license, or CMA or RMA credentialing or Certified Ortho Technician

+ Current BLS required

+ Knowledge of healthcare field, medical office protocols/procedures

+ Skill in performing clinical assistant tasks appropriately

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors, and other staff

+ Skill in time management, prioritizing and medical care coordination

+ Ability to organize and accomplish tasks, and have the flexibility to meet changing demands on daily basis

+ Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality

+ Ability to project and maintain a professional image

+ Ability to work independently and excel as part of a team

+ Excellent customer service skills

+ Proficient computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records

Based on experience and qualifications the average hourly compensation for this position will range from $21.00 – $24.00. COMPANY OVERVIEW Spectrum Healthcare Partners is Maine’s largest multi-specialty, physician-owned and directed professional organization and is comprised of over 200 physicians practicing in the areas of anesthesiology, orthopedics, pain management, pathology, radiation oncology, radiology, and vascular & interventional services. Spectrum provides services at many of Maine’s hospitals throughout the state and in eastern New Hampshire. POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for performing a variety of duties in both the clinical and administrative areas focusing on the delivery of quality patient care. Includes assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. This position acts as a liaison between patients and the Orthopaedic Surgery Center by facilitating communication and bridging the gap between the Clinical Area and the Orthopaedic Surgery Center. Responsible for various duties, dependent upon the credentials and scope of practice of the employee. BENEFITS
