Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is seeking a Commercial Servicing Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties in support of Commercial loan products while providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

Location for this great opportunity can be Ellsworth, Maine or Newport, New Hampshire.

Responsibilities (Essential): · Boarding and maintenance on all Commercial loans. · Maintain and support Floor Plan loans. · Perform reporting functions for SBA, FAME, and USDA. · Serve as a backup for various duties to ensure the department remains functioning at all times. · Process Charge off and Bankruptcy maintenance. · Boarding and maintenance of SWAP and Participated loans. · Perform general data entry for and parameter changes on all Commercial loans. · Perform customer research as requested by Bank branches or departments. · Provide loan-related guidance to Bank branches and departments as needed. · Identify, review and ensure compliance with the laws and regulations which affect assigned functional areas. · Enthusiastically support the Bank’s Guiding Principles and Brand Behaviors. · Adhere to federal regulatory requirements, such as the Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Acts, and all established policies and procedures . · Enthusiastically support the Bank’s Guiding Principles and Brand Behaviors. Required Education & Experience: · Minimum of a high school degree or the equivalent. · Previous banking experience required. · Demonstrated professional customer relations and communication skills. · The ability to receive and understand oral questions and written instructions, and the ability to apply them to assigned job responsibilities. · The ability to analyze, interpret findings and results, and to draw logical conclusions in carrying out day-to-day assignments. · The flexibility to learn and keep current with changing procedures and regulations, varying job assignments, technological advances, and new equipment. · The ability to work as a positive team member in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and to manage multiple assignments. · Working knowledge of Windows-based software programs is required.
