Job Description
AMHC is excited to announce the new overnight position as a Warming Center Support Staff position at the Aroostook Recovery Center of Hope in Houlton. The Warming Center Support Staff is responsible for providing Warming Center and substance use disorder (SUD) peer support services to individuals who are either seeking Warming Center support and/or SUD recovery services. The Warming Center Support Staff focuses on offering Warming Center and SUD Recovery Center support within our AMHC-designated services. The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Build Compassionate relationships to cultivate positive, relationships to be able to identify when individuals need assistance or intervention
- Respectfully Support individuals with learning problem-solving skills, self-care techniques, and coping skills
- Collaborate with individuals to support them in advocating for their needs and wants using agency support when necessary
- Maintain the Integrity and Excellence of AMHC by adhering to agency policies and procedures
- Keep the focus on the Services needed by each individual.
Schedule:
- Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions are available
- 7:00 pm to 7:00 am shifts available
- This is a Temp position ending on April 30, 2023
- OVERNIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
- Completion bonus for staff who stay through April 30th, 2023
- All AMHC employment requires Covid vaccination
