We are excited to be adding a dedicated Heat Pump Service Technician to ReVision Energy and are seeking a full-time support person to help build, develop, and administer this new segment of the business in our South Portland branch.

The Air Source Heat Pump Service Technician will play an integral role in our growing company wide Service Division. Service Technician responsibilities will consist of general troubleshooting, heat pump service and routine cleanings, supporting solar thermal heating system repair, maintenance and inspection, collector and/or module removal and replacement.
Role and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
+ Respond to thermal service calls individually or with support
+ Provide regular routine maintenance cleanings of air source heat pumps
+ Diagnose, troubleshoot, communicate with tech support, and complete repairs
+ Clearly communicate with customers to identify issues, provide context and a path forward for resolution
+ Update internal service records daily
+ Gather all information needed to apply for manufacturer warranty claims
+ Qualifications (required):
+ HVAC experience, specifically Air Source Heat Pump
+ Excel at problem solving and working with tools
+ Comfortably able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, work with tools, work in crawl spaces, and work on high roof tops in varying hot and cold temperatures
+ Highly organized
+ Ability to multi-task and set priorities
+ Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, e-mail and web based applications
+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
+ Excellent capacity to work in a team and ability to foster a positive team environment
+ Effectively coordinate and communicate with others (customers and co-workers)
+ Ability to succeed in a fast paced community environment
+ Safety conscious – must be comfortable enforcing safety rules with everyone; including supervisors, customers, and co-workers

Licenses or Additional Qualifications (preferred but not required):
+ Plumbing license
+ Electrical license
+ Solar thermal experience (solar hot water systems)
+ OSHA 10
+ EPA Certification
+ College Degree
+ NABCEP certification
+ Other manufacturer certification/training
