The Role: Endoscopy Technician (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant – 32 hours per week

MaineGeneral is currently seeking an Endoscopy Technician (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team of professional in our Augusta location.

The Opportunity:

MaineGeneral Health currently has an opening for an Endoscopy Technician (CNA) / Certified Nursing Assistant. This is a Part-time 32 hour per week position. In this role the CNA will assist with setting up rooms for procedures and will provide patient care. The ideal candidate is meticulous in their work and attentive to detail. In this unique position, our ideal candidate will be one that can shift gears rapidly, being able to provide top notch patient care, but also able to perform administration and clerical tasks for the department.

The Work:

+ Provides technical support for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

+ Assists physicians and nurses with performing procedures and providing patient care.

+ Obtains tissue and bodily fluids specimens.

+ Prepares and maintains endoscopy equipment and supplies. Performs endoscope re-processing.

+ Maintains the GI procedure area in a clean, safe condition. Ensures necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures.

You Have:

+ Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) and is an active and in good standing on the State of Maine CNA registry.

+ Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

+ Must have the ability to work independently, effectively manage time and good problem-solving skills.
