Summary


Position Summary

Staff Pharmacists compound, dispense and control pharmaceuticals requisitioned by providers; assist the Director of Pharmacy in planning, development and implementation of departmental programs and procedures, maintaining an efficient system that provides patient centered, community focused, cost effective, clinically effective coordinated care. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Coordinator, Pharmacists are responsible for all daily pharmacy operations across Southern Maine Health Care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: B.S. in Pharmacy from accredited school of Pharmacy required. PharmD and residency preferred.

License/Certifications: Current licensure with Board of Pharmacy in the State of Maine and State of New Hampshire or the ability to become licensed prior to employment.
