Position Summary
has an immediate need for a per diem Diagnostic Imaging Support Specialist Technologist to join our care team. The Diagnostic Imaging Support Specialist under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging (DI) Manager and/or, DI supervisors/Lead Technologists, the Diagnostic Imaging Support Specialist is responsible for the delivery of a broad spectrum of services to the clinical staff and our patients. They will provide support as needed for DI Reception, Registration, Administrative, clerical and scheduling functions. The Specialist will perform other related duties as directed by DI Management.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school graduate or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: N/A.
Experience:N/A.
Detailed knowledge of radiographic anatomy and procedures.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Ability to utilize HIS/RIS/PACS.
Fluent in Windows environment.
Experienced in functioning in a multi-task environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.
