Job Description
Summary
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position.
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Tech (MT) is responsible for conducting maintenance, (scheduled & unscheduled), upkeep of the buildings, grounds, appliances, and mechanical systems for all areas of the facility. The MT performs work in a safe, neat professional manner, with special attention paid to patient/resident/family customer relations. The MT shall ensure the compliance and enforcement of Federal, State, Town, and policies and regulations. The MT will also participate in the rotation of maintenance weekend "On-Call" duties. The MT will perform such other duties as directed by the Supervisor.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High School education preferred. Post-secondary education preferred.
License/Certifications: Valid Maine Driver's license required.
Experience:Three to four (3-4) years' minimum experience in the construction service trades, or healthcare field.
