Spurwink is looking for a Peer Support Specialist to help start-up our newly funded Comprehensive Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC). This individual will be a member of a team that provides same day access to screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for Cumberland County residents, regardless of their ability to pay. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing trauma-informed support and be comfortable making real-time decisions based on their lived experience. This individual will be a part of a partnership driven, fully integrated continuum community-based mental health, primary care, and substance use disorder services here in Portland. Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist or Recovery Coach certification and High school diploma or equivalent, two-year degree/some college preferred.
