Job Description
Sandcastle Clinical & Educational Services is currently in search of a Clinical or School Psychologist who is licensed in the state of Maine. Sandcastle specializes in providing inclusive preschool education and early intervention in a naturalistic treatment setting to children 3 to 5 years of age. Outpatient services also include mental health (psychological evaluations, psychotherapy), audiology, speech therapy and occupational therapy for children and adolescents. As a contributing member to the clinical care team, the Psychologist will work closely with teachers, Audiologists, Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational therapists to help support students in our integrated classrooms as well as children and adolescents in our outpatient clinical setting. There is also an opportunity to work with schools in our community as well as deliver teletherapy services.
A staff psychologist is responsible for completion of psychological evaluations and psychotherapy with children and adolescents. Experience working with children is preferred. A PsyD or PhD as well as a passion for developing young minds is required.
