Job Description:
Immediate opening for a Millwright to work for a well-established manufacturer in Ashland. Full-time; multiple shifts available; $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
The Millwright will handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery. Employee will be responsible for testing and calibrating a variety of machinery in the facility to ensure that all equipment is operating at maximum efficiency. Applicants should have 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance. Associate’s degree or trade certification in a related field strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Use a combination of hand and power tools to assemble, maintain, and repair production machinery and other mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot potential issues and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment.
- Accurately read blueprints in order to fabricate or modify machinery as needed.
- Repair or replace chains, belt conveyors, gear boxes, hydraulics, and pneumatic parts.
Job Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment; particularly in working with stationary production equipment.
- Trade certification or associate’s degree related to maintenance and/or mechanical support strongly preferred.
- Good communication skills and a proven record for following safety regulations and guidelines.
Schedule: Full-time; day and night shifts available.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00/hr.; health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, 401k with employer match.
