Promote proper data stewardship though concepts of data quality, data catalog, master data management and data retention. Work with business data owners for use case identification, prioritization, and platform investments across the organization. This includes the definition and execution of governance inclusive of quality monitoring, remediation, and process enablement. They will ensure our data management processes and tools result in high quality and trusted information. Responsibilities: + Committed to facilitate cross-functional project teams in complex processes and tools to achieve the best results + Leads engagements with stakeholders and data leaders to establish global metrics and ensure adherence to data strategy + Demonstrates versatile mix of analytics, and technical skills, always focusing on the business use cases and customer needs + Supporting the management of governance meetings, creating materials, delivering presentations, driving stakeholder participation + Supporting change management and communications related to global data standards + Experience and desire to work with data owners and technical custodians to facilitate data quality improvement initiatives + Manipulating, comparing, and interpreting business views of data into actionable outcomes be that data definitions, standards, and policies + Oversees the development of policies, procedures and standards for data management and governance throughout its lifecycle. + Interfaces with data stewards to support their data responsibilities and own complex cross functional data dictionaries, data architecture and data models Qualifications: Minumum Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Management Systems, Computer Science, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field + 12 years’ work experience + 3+ years’ experience as business systems analysis, data experience (stewardship, quality management, governance) and/or process ownership leveraging tools that enable analytic insights, including SQL, PowerBI, or equivalent + Project management experience + Facilitate best practice sharing and influence across the organization + Extensive problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively research complex issues, determine root cause, and recommend solutions in ambiguous situations + Excellent written, verbal communication, project management and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate sophisticated data and statistics in a simple and clear way + Proven track record of customer-focused engagement and collaboration is required + Demonstrates understanding of data definitions, data management processes and tools, and how they affect downstream systems and analytics + Ability to work within a team environment using consensus building to achieve a desired result Zebra is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Salary: USD 114800.00 – USD 172200.00 Yearly Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
