SMX is seeking a highly motivated Project Analyst to support our internal ARIES Program management Office (PMO) and our customers’ Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) efforts in Africa. The ideal candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the PMO, including leading reporting, tracking, and generating various reports and documents in support of the PMO. This role also works with the program’s Trusted Agent (TA) in securing and/or transferring Common Access Cards (CACs), maintaining internal and external training requirements, and supporting internal and external meetings.
As the SMX Project Analyst, you will report to the SMX Deputy Director (Operations) with additional duties as assigned supporting the SMX Task Order Program Manager (TOPM) and the SMX Deployment Coordinator.
This role requires a well-developed interpersonal relationship skillset to work with various stakeholders from SMX, FEDSIM, and the AFRICOM J2ISR shop. Additionally, ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter, able to provide insight and suggestions to elevate the performance of the ARIES PMO and the SMX team.
This is a full-time role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Perform as the ARIES Project Analyst supporting the requirements of the ARIES PMO
+ Assist with onboarding of new employees, provide liaison between recent hires and the SMX Deployment Coordinator (as applicable)
+ Assist with training requirement assignment, tracking, and completion
+ Coordinate day-to-day administrative tracking and performance within the PMO
+ Maintain and improve upon SMX’ hiring, onboarding, and training processes
+ Manage tracking, submission, and eventual return of Common Access Cards (CACs) for both SMX and deploying subcontractors
+ Work closely as the SMX Deputy Director (Operations) to ensure seamless cross-functional operations between leadership, Operations, and Execution entities
+ Coordinate generation and dissemination of Monthly Situation Reports (MSRs)
+ Coordinate generation and dissemination of Weekly FEDSIM meeting agenda and notes
+ Coordinate gathering data for OCONUS reports (for inclusion on the ARIES Portal)
+ Coordinate SPOT/LOA reports (in concert with Deployment Coordinator)
+ Create a healthy and motivating work environment
+ Assist with program and project assignments and activities as assigned
+ Provide communication of activities, issues, and proposed solutions within the PMO
Required Skills & Education
+ Required Clearance: Secret
+ Able to obtain a DOD Command Access Card (CAC)
+ High School diploma
+ 5 years’ experience with MSOffice products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Valid US passport
+ Valid stateside driver’s license
+ Excellent interpersonal skills
+ Demonstrated effective organizational skills
+ Excellent decision-making, verbal/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively help manage a highly experienced team in a challenging and fast-paced environment
+ Ability to operate cross-functionally to support other SMX operations and functions
Desired Skills & Education
+ Prior experience with Department of Defense (DoD) contracting
+ Experience working with subcontractors in a Department of Defense environment
+ Experience with Airborne ISR programs
+ AA or BA/BS degree
