The MaineHealth Center for Workforce Development is seeking an intern to join our team beginning in the spring semester of 2023
Position highlights:
Gain hands on experience in Workforce Development at Maine's largest health care system
Join a friendly and committed team, working to increase the pipelines of talent into the organization
Exposure and exploration of wider Talent Team and Human Resources efforts.
Make a real difference in our efforts to work together so our communities are the healthiest in America.
Remote/Hybrid schedule possible
Position Summary:
Administrative and project support for multiple student and employee facing initiatives
Work will include Communications, event planning, program coordination and administration
Part Time schedule March - June (10-15 hours a week)
Full Time Schedule June - August (30-35 hours a week) - Note: This intern will participate in the MaineHealth Non-Clinical Summer Internship Program
What we are looking for:
Student in last year of post-secondary academic program
Students enrolled in Marketing/Communications, English, Business, Human Resources or related program.
Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail and time management
Strong sense of ownership and dependability
Comfort with virtual meeting and event platforms like Zoom, experience with Microsoft Office Suite products like PowerPoint, and the Adobe Suite is a plus
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate's degree program, four-year Bachelor's degree program, or graduate-level program preferred.

License/Certifications: N/A

Experience: N/A

Strong analytical thinking.

Must work independently, take initiative to complete assigned projects with minimal direction, and be able to prioritize tasks within an assigned project.

Ability to maintain confidentiality in the performance of duties.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other technologies as needed.
