Job Description:
At Regions, the Database Systems Manager leads a team that provides database administration/management, analysis, and architecture engineering. This position interacts with Information Technology area management and business areas.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Manages coaches and leads database technology personnel and teams
+ Provides guidance and directional oversight of the development and implementation of corporate databases
+ Works with Project Managers, Technology Managers, and area managers across the lines of business
+ Aligns strategic direction of database administration teams with the bank’s strategic goals across multiple business lines
+ Facilitates and approves the team’s standards, processes, and procedures
+ Manages the team’s budget, forecast, capital plan, and cost center
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
+ Associate’s degree (or technical training program) and fifteen (15) years of experience or Bachelor’s degree and twelve (12) years of professional technology experience

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
