Summary
Position Summary
Physical Therapist Assistants, under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist, assist in the provision of physical therapy interventions to patients/clients in various populations identified in our Scope of Care policy who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
Physical Therapist Assistants work in multiple service delivery areas including acute care and outpatient department. This may include off site programming needs.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Entry level degree in Physical Therapy.
License/Certifications: Maine State Licensure; BLS Certification required.
Experience:N/A.
