Chemours is seeking a(n) North America Product Specialist to join our growing Thermal and Specialized Solutions team! This position will report directly to the Americas Product Manager at our Wilmington, Delaware location.

The North America Product Specialist will work with cross functional teams, including supply chain, sales, marketing, regulatory and product development, providing guidance and feedback on the regional product portfolio strategy optimizing value for the business and its customer, including pricing guidance, monitoring market and competitive dynamic and ensuring high level of customer experience.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Development and execution of regional product portfolio strategy, including the analysis and optimization of regional profitability at product, SKU, customer, segment and market level

+ Set, execute and track regional floor pricing strategy and sales polices

+ Input regional specific industry/customer needs to the global product strategy

+ Provide market Intel including routine update and analysis of regional market share (by product), competitive position, route to market dynamic, sourcing/raw material cost drivers, industry trends and leading dynamics indicators.

+ Analyze and build market scenarios for different regulatory and competitive dynamic

+ Be Accountable for customer-specific product specification requests

+ Execute and coordinate regional actions arising from any product change process (CTB) including assessment and management of regional customer impact from sourcing decisions (raw materials, packaging)

+ Monitor and tracking for quality issue resolution within product line.

+ Align with GPM on regional Inventory Management needs to support regional customer service level requirements.

+ Resolving supply/demand conflicts including allocation decisions (creates principles for allocation)

+ Execution of regional PS&R actions based on Product Manager and/or Business Manager decisions

The following is required for this role:

+ A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with 2 or more years of experience in a marketing, product management, or technical field that has had direct impact on the customer base of the assigned product line

+ Analytical skills and thoughtful, but decisive, decision making

+ Demonstrated written and oral skills – ability to present information and ideas in organized way to various audiences across multi-functions

+ Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills to drive programs to completion, take initiative and overcome obstacles.

+ Able to work both independently and collaboratively

The following is preferred for this role:

+ Six Sigma Black Belt certification or other Lean Manufacturing certification or experience

+ Product management experience within chemical industry, having performed roles that includes analysis and understanding of multiple and complex influences on profitability, where the balance of costs, cash, revenue with the customer experience are the key deliverables for the function.
