As a part-time, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC  Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing and delivering ordered medication, restocking Omnicell cabinets, and compounding sterile IV products using an aseptic technique. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work between 25-29 hours per week with 8-hour shifts and designated by the pharmacy manager.

About the Facility:  The Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery organization serving central and western Maine. CMH's acute care facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital, and Rumford Hospital. Other CMH affiliates provide various outpatient and clinical services and maintain residential care facilities. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open 24-hours a day.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Maine Pharmacy Technician licensure active and in good standing
Recent experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or hospital setting is preferred, but willing to train
Experience in sterile compounding preferred, but willing to train
Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Strong organizational skills
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
Hep B3 Series (or declination)
(Flu) Influenza required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
