Job Description

Clam Hut Hospitality, Inc. dba Bobs Clam Hut located in Kittery, ME in York County:  Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2023-12/31/2023; (3) Openings. At least 37 hours p/week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary, 10am to 4pm, 11am-7pm, 12pm-8pm, and/or 3pm-10pm.  Weekends and holidays are required.  Will train to take reservations, greet, and seat guests, and present menus and wine lists. Resolve customer complaints regarding food quality and service and resolving grievances. Present bills and accept payments. Supervise workers, engaged in preparing and serving food. Assign duties, responsibilities, and workstations to employees in accordance with business requirements. Must be able to lift/carry 30 lbs. and stand for several hours a day. Comply with local, state, and federal regulations, orders, and mandates related to cleaning and sanitation required to combat COVID 19.  $21.27 p/hour or $31.91 p/hour for overtime as it may be available.  No education or prior work experience is required.  On the job training is provided.  Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period.  Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.  The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.  Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $14 p/day during travel to a maximum of $59 p/day with receipts.  The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.  Employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting Monday at 12:01 am and ending Sunday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (weekly) by company check.  H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs.  All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly.  Lodging may be available through employer.  If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is $125 p/week and is paid directly by employee to employer each week.    Housing is optional.  Transportation is not provided to worksite.  Applicants may apply to:  Clam Hut Hospitality, Inc. dba Bobs Clam Hut, by email, arti@robertsmainegrill.com  Or:  Maine Job Link at:   www.joblink.maine.gov; or Maine Career Center at: www.mainecareercenter.com  Springvale Career Center, 9 Bodwell Court, Springvale, ME  04083 (T) 207-324-5460 or 800-343-0151 (F) 207-324-7069.  Referencing Job Order # 859672.  Submit resume/application on or before March 11, 2023.
