Job Description:

At EnerBank, the Software Developer is responsible for delivering enterprise quality solutions to internal and external business customers through application development, modification, and maintenance of applications. This position works with an enterprise architect, other software developers, QA automation engineers, and QA staff to deliver committed bodies of work in an agile environment.

EnerBank USA, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.

Primary Responsibilities

+ Writes and delivers code that lives up to common best practices and standards set by the software engineering team

+ Participates in review of requirements in the form of user stories for understanding, questions, estimation, and implementation design

+ Writes testable and tested codes with committed automation unit, integration, and system tests

+ Helps in support of production deployed services by assisting with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and defining resolution to production raised issues

+ Assists with estimating work efforts required for each phase of a project

+ Identifies and raises technical risks

+ Develops, implements, and maintains complex automation tasks

+ Configures and maintains automation, deployment, and related services

+ Assists in planning and defining deployed environmental needs that include service deployment, hosts, network, and related components

+ Provides communication assistance between software and infrastructure engineers

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

+ Three (3) years of software engineering or development experience

Skills and Competencies

+ Ability to collaborate across multiple functional/technical teams

+ Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

+ Ability to work independently and on a team

+ Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

+ Proficient in C# using .Net Core or .Net Framework

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Strong understanding of interfacing with software development teams

+ Excellent knowledge of development tools

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the national range and level of the position.

$109,840.00 USD
