LinkedIn is looking for a Staff Technology Product Owner/Business Systems Analyst to partner with our FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) business team. In this role you will act as a partner to the engineering and business partners, through both identification and implementation of new tools/applications, entity rollouts, projects etc. Ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience with demonstrated leadership in handling finance cross functional projects. This position will develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of each business team’s priorities, their corresponding strategy, as well as the supporting IT strategies. This role will work closely with FP&A business partners as well as foster relationships with cross functional and internal engineering stakeholders.
Responsibilities: • Bring expertise in the FP&A business and technology landscape including financial planning, reporting, data management, and analysis. This includes developing a deep understanding of internal and system processes. • Collaborate within the team and with partners to articulate points of view, identify transformation opportunities and industry best practices, develop and maintain the technology roadmap, and influence strategies and standards. • Be a change agent to drive and deliver end to end solutions to meet project and team objectives. This includes working across teams to ensure communication is consistent and proactive. • Drive multiple project implementations and be thoroughly knowledgeable of process and system development life cycle. • Translate business requirements into documented functional and technical requirements; including partnering with engineering on the development within the Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) module and related systems, including support of integrations. • Act as a coach and mentor for individual contributors on the team. • Lead, coordinate and takes part in activities to support business stakeholders through full life cycle implementations including requirements gathering, design, prototyping, building/configuring, testing, training, documentation and go live. This extends to support of production systems. • Evaluate technologies, platforms, and design choices to provide recommendations that align with overall technology roadmap. • Ensure data integrity, consolidation, consistency, and meta data development throughout all planning & reporting systems • Partner with Corporate entities to support Planning/Forecasting process and Master Data integration/SAP mapping. • Work with business partners to prioritize backlog and feature planning aligned with roadmap.

Basic Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or related field is required. • 6+ years of experience in liaising with stakeholders, understanding business processes, providing solutions that will improve the performance and productivity of users. • Experience in SDLC (software development lifecycle) methods. • 8+ years of experience with Oracle EPM Cloud software (or similar) and related products
Preferred Qualifications:
• 8+ years hands-on experience as a Product Owner and/or Business Systems Analyst supporting FP&A business. • Expert level knowledge of Corporate FP&A and Accounting business processes. • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting, Enterprise Data Management and Narrative Reporting. • Experience with an end to end implementation of EPM or equivalent application• Proven track record of defining system roadmaps, understanding business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training and implementing robust and scalable solutions. • Experience leading a team of junior business analysts and other team members. • Experience leading design and architecture meetings and projects • Knowledge of Enterprise Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, Narrative Reporting, Data Management. • Ability to adapt and react quickly to changing business needs. • Ability to turn abstract requirements into executable design. • Excellent written and verbal communications and problem-solving skills. • Ability to validate data to ensure trust. • Ability to mentor, coach, and train internal team.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $125,000 to $207,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
