Responsibilities
This role is a remote, part-time, 1099 postion with the possiblity of, based on workload, become full-time.**
The Opportunity
PCG’s Education Consulting service line seeks a Graphic Designer for a highly complex and exciting English Language Arts (ELA) digital curriculum development project. The project provides motivated individuals a unique opportunity to support educators and students by providing professionally designed curricular resources such as teacher support materials and student anthologies. The project consists of 8 modules per grade level for grades 3-5 (a full year of instruction for each grade). The graphic designer will create stylized versions of student and teacher materials, with content being supplied from the grade-level writers.

PCG’s Education Consulting Service Line works with states, districts, and schools to address a wide spectrum of needs such as curriculum development, instructional resources audits, design and facilitation of professional development and professional learning communities, school improvement, and program reviews. Recent project engagements have included a development of a custom K-12 curriculum for Chicago Public Schools, development of the EngageNY grades 6-12 English Language Arts Common-Core aligned curriculum for the New York State Education Department, design and delivery of a system of professional learning for the Connecticut State Department of Education, and the creation of training and resources to support transition to the college and career standards for the Florida Department of Education.

Specific Responsibilities
+ Participate in a highly-collaborative, rapid development process and work in a team environment that includes regular engagement with team members, peer review, and other formative feedback
+ Create well designed teacher support materials and student anthologies with content provided from grade-level writers
+ Adhere to style guides and project documentation/conventions
+ Implement feedback from client and team members to edit and finalize versions
+ Transfer and track files through the defined workflow process in Google Drive
+ Conduct quality assurance checks on final deliverables
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Technically proficient with: InDesign, Photoshop, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
+ Able to work under tight timelines and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality
+ Excellent attention to detailandfamiliarity working with style guides/documents
+ Driven to seek out and use feedback to improve and to grow

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.?As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $46,407 – $56,407. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
