The Insurance Portfolio Specialist essential duties

+ Review and resolve insurance invoice rejects daily.

+ Review and analyze insurance aging to determine priority of collection efforts.

+ Resolve billing issues through insurance companies, networks, customers, and stores.

+ Review posted check payments/ EFTs daily, resolve any short pays.

+ Maintain notes to track status and progress of unpaid invoices.

+ Maintain Insurance/network pricing levels in Mainstreet.

+ Support stores and Contact Center in insurance order setup, billing issues, and invoicing procedures.

+ Backup for cash application of checks and EFT payments.

+ Enter adjustments in Mainstreet as necessary to correct or adjust billings, payments, or credits.

+ Assist in the maintenance of Mainstreet customer database as requested.

+ Special projects as may be assigned by Credit Mgr., President.

+ Assist in recommending areas of training for auto insurance training for ISRs.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED is required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

+ Accounts receivable experience helpful.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Experience in MS Office including, Word, Excel, and Outlook

+ Excellent math aptitude.

Working Conditions / Physical Demands:

+ Normally seated and standing with freedom of movement on a regular basis, operating office machines, equipment, and handling light materials and supplies in a typical office environment.

+ May spend extended periods operating desktop computer, requiring hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity; and communicating face-to-face, on the telephone and in writings
