The Glass Shower Technician is a critical member of our team. The Glass Shower Technician is responsible for measuring, selling and installing frameless and framed custom glass shower enclosures. The role is heavily focused on showers; and the Shower Install Technician will also be required to install residential and light commercial flat glass products and services such as glass railing systems, windows and skylights, mirrors, occasionally storefronts and also may be called for emergency services. You will also develop new customers by identifying opportunities to cross promote services and sell additional work while showing respect and courtesy to all customers and teammates. What does the Glazier/Shower Glass Technician do? No experience? No problem. We are a company that puts our employees first with room for on-the-job training and additional training for career advancement. Glazier / Shower Glass Technician Detailed Responsibilities:
+ Conduct accurate field measures, sell and install glass showers.
+ Manage efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of vehicle.
+ Collect payment and/or payment information from customer on your company issued IPAD
+ Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
+ Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as requiredGlazier / Shower Glass Technician Job Requirements:
+ Ability to measure accurately and use tape measures and basic levels
+ Physical ability to work safely with ladders, scaffolding and related equipment required for glass installation
+ Proficiency to learn to navigate/navigate tablet-based -IPAD -technology
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Professional appearance and personality
+ Assists with the installation of residential and commercial projects to meet installation specifications and project timelines.
+ Willing to learn and demonstrate a high degree of skill in commercial and/or residential glazing projects.
+ Prior experience in the flat glass industry installing showers is a plusGlazier / Shower Glass Technician Work Habits:
+ Completes jobs within the schedule as directed by site foreman or site installation supervisor.
+ Demonstrates flexibility with regard to job requests and work schedule.
