RECREATION PROGRAMMER I – AFTER CARE & COMMUNITY CENTER (6 Positions)

Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department - **REVISED hours** - Permanent, year-round, part-time position **(18.75-25 hours/week) position** - The City of Portland Recreation Division is offering a creative opportunity to engage with the community through a variety of recreational activities. This position is responsible for monitoring and engaging with program participants in the Before and After the Bell Program. Must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with children. First aid and CPR certified preferred, but not required. After School Program schedule begins in late August: Varied hours to include After School program 2:00pm - 5:30 pm (M-F). (Slight variations in hours and schedules are possible due to staggered start and end times of the Portland Elementary Schools). 

Necessary Special Requirements:  A valid Class C driver's license in good standing is desired - if candidate has valid class C, a driving record check will be conducted.  Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background.  

CEBA Union – Grade 4 - $16.67/hour.
