Wanted: ReStore Manager


Waterville Area Habitat For Humanity is currently seeking candidates for the position of Manager at our ReStore in Downtown Waterville. The ReStore Manager is responsible for addressing outstanding customer service through positive & effective communication with customers and staff, as well as coordinating the efficient daily operations of the ReStore. They will oversee the processing of donations, daily sales/cash reports and oversee all volunteers. They will maintain displays and respond to customer concerns and complaints. They will maintain cleanliness and ensure that the ReStore is operating at its fullest capacity. Additionally, They will assist with event planning, admin support and community outreach on behalf of the organization. They will report directly to the Executive Director.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties: Coach, support and supervise volunteer team members Maintain and monitor store inventory Display, promote and market inventory for in-store and on-line sales Ensure the ReStore is clean, safe and presentable for customers

Greet and assist customers as necessary when other sales associates are busy Monitor, contribute and coordinate WAHFH’s on-line presence on social media Coordinate donation pick ups and staffing on retrieval days Coordinate and maintain safety policies as required by Habitat For Humanity International (HFHI) Drive ReStore truck and assist with loading and unloading merchandise when necessary Serve as point for in-store donations, pricing and customer feedback

Skills and Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma Valid driver’s license Ability to work flexible schedule – including Saturdays

Desired: Bachelors Degree Experience working with non-profit organizations

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to work as a team player and to effectively supervise others

Demonstrated organizational skills

Excellent verbal, listening, and computer skills (Google, MS Office, Libre Office…) Successful experience working with volunteers

Familiarity with the mission and work of Habitat for Humanity

Experience networking with community service and governmental agencies

1+ years experience in supervisory role preferred but not required

Knowledge of retail sales operations

Ability to drive a 16 foot box truck
