The Maine Apprenticeship Program team is looking for you if you enjoy working with the public, want to make a difference by working with employers to determine their workforce development needs and implement registered apprenticeship programs to address them. The person hired for this position will develop, update, implement, and monitor registered apprenticeship programs in both private industry and the public sector. They will work with Maine businesses, apprentices, unions and other workforce system and education partners AND will also deliver presentations, workshops, and informational session at job fairs, trade shows, and other public events. Work will require frequent regionally-based travel and occasional statewide travel. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity.

Preference will be given to those applicants:

+ Experience providing information and guidance.

+ Customer Service.

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.

+ Managing business accounts.

+ Curriculum development and implementation.

+ Experience using computer software and virtual communications platforms such as MS Teams and Zoom.

+ Bilingual or multi-lingual skills in English in addition to any of the following languages: Arabic, French, Khmer, Portuguese, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
