Jobs for Maine’s Graduates, Inc. (JMG) seeks an Aspire Career Coordinator to fill a brand new opening in MSAD 54 through a partnership with MSAD 54, the MELMAC Education Foundation, and Generation US (a JMG affiliate). The focus of this
partnership is to continue to advance how MSAD 54 prepares students for life after high school. This is an exciting but challenging multi-year, system-wide change initiative. This position will coordinate with businesses and community organizations to empower students to make informed decisions about their career and educational plans. To this end, the Aspire Career Coordinator will facilitate career based learning experiences including information about career options, career pathways, educational requirements and related employment for all students. Additionally, this position will facilitate job shadowing and work based learning experiences, mentorship pairings, and internships for Skowhegan High School students. This position is full-time, year-round The start date for this position is June 20th, 2022.
Compensation for this position is $42,000 plus bonuses for qualifying staff. Paid time off includes school vacation weeks in December, February, and April, plus 15 additional vacation days. Staff also have 3 weeks of sick time, and 1 week of Covid time if needed. JMG benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and more.
