Job Description

This position is available to Northeastern University students who are currently enrolled and eligible for Co-op.

As a member of the Computational Sciences Department at The Jackson Laboratory, you will have the opportunity to participate in one of the largest data science groups in US academia. You will participate in the planning and leadership of large-scale analytical and technical projects and programs, and contribute to the ongoing development of data science educational and training activities.

The assignment will be customized to the skills and interests of the student, and can include multiple of the following:
Project management - utilize agile methods to help plan and drive work
Program management - support the assignment, tracking, and reporting on staffing resources across dozens of projects; develop management dashboard
Educational coordination - work with staff across departments to plan and deliver training activities and materials
Data science support - manage and coordinate requests for analytical and technical support provided by department staff
Strategic planning - coordinate the activities supporting multi-year planning for the department

Minimum 3.0 GPA
Undergraduate or graduate students in Project Management, Higher Education and Administration, Learning and Instruction, Learning Experience Design and Technology, or Organizational Leadership programs
