Job Description:

CDM Smith is seeking a Facilities Safety and Security Manager to join our Corporate Real Estate Group. As a member of this team you will contribute to CDM Smith’s mission by:

• Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for office safety and security programs.

• Ensuring each office has an up-to-date safety and security plan.

• Developing office safety & security training and conduct in partnership with office leaders.

• Developing and maintain an office incident response protocol and serve as the primary administrator.

• In partnership with company’s IT Security group, developing office security system roadmap, update and maintain systems.

• Procuring and scheduling security system installations for office additions and moves.

• Managing the office safety and security systems annual budget.

• Managing vendors and contracts for office safety and security systems.

• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 10 years of related experience with at least 1 of those years in a project management or supervisory capacity.

Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to show solid leadership qualities and manage crisis situations.

• Experience with developing Safety & Security training.

• Demonstrated expertise with security operations, safety practices, and loss prevention strategies.

• Knowledge of security systems and related technical information.
