Job Description

This position can be located anywhere in the US or Canada.

The marketing coordinator reports to the B2B associate marketing director will execute innovative campaigns that promote the Via Benefits individual marketplace to employers. To be effective, you will partner with colleagues on the marketing team and across the organization in businesses and functional areas to manage marketing activities and tactics. More broadly, you will develop, project manage and coordinate marketing plans to 1) support business growth and revenue goals and 2) protect and promote the Via Benefits brand.

Successful candidates must demonstrate business acumen, strong writing and editing skills, relevant experience with marketing tools and related content, excellent project management, organizational, communication and team skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

The Role

Examples of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Build and manage project plans that include coordinating calendars, organizing and maintaining mailing lists, seeking appropriate approvals, creating deliverables, and developing communications

+ Write web content, digital ad copy, email pitch templates, and other marketing deliverables

+ Tracking, interpreting and reporting on paid media analytics

+ Assist in developing and editing videos, podcasts, webcasts, etc.

+ Communicate effectively with team members, internal clients (including sales and client management), and marketing colleagues to set expectations, promote marketing campaigns, and coordinate/leverage activities

+ Foster collaboration and coordinate with marketing colleagues across the function

+ Develop/update relevant content knowledge to work with the business on the individual marketplace

+ Develop/update relevant marketing skills, including in some specialized areas (e.g., digital marketing, email marketing, outbound marketing tools, webcasts, etc.) where appropriate

+ Use marketing best practices, processes, and tools and be a brand champion

The Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or equivalent plus 2+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience or 4+ years of commensurate work-related experience

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ A strong focus on detail and accuracy of work

+ Excellent project management skills, including successfully managing multiple projects on time and within budget

+ Experience with marketing technologies (e.g., marketing automation, CRM, Account-Based Marketing (ABM))

+ Self-starter attitude and ability to work with ambiguity and frequent changes in direction

+ Collaboration skills and ability to work across geographies with virtual teammates

+ Ability to build strong partnerships at all levels within an organization and interact with leadership
