Come Grow With Us - We are expanding our team! Our Client Care Center Specialists are a key part of Androscoggin Bank's consistent client experience and digital banking growth. This small team of banking experts provides excellent internal and external Client service through phone, email and chat, identifying and accommodating Client needs and recommending alternative and additional banking products as needed.  The team also supports our client’s onboarding experience with new accounts opened online.

The pay rate for this position will depend upon experience, with advanced placement possible for a well-qualified candidate.

In this role, you won't be lost in a large call center that is overly focused on metrics or one function; our small team of specialists have broad expertise and are empowered to work hard and have fun while working closely with one another to delight our clients. Come be part of a team where the strengths you bring as an individual are celebrated and where diverse career opportunities in banking still exist in Maine.  Although the role is based at our Bates Mill - Lewiston location, many of our specialist choose to work remote from home some of the time.  Our base location provides everyone the opportunity to develop and grow by interacting with a large group of folks from a wide variety of Bank roles.  Also, we take our unique culture seriously with daily standup, company-wide weekly huddles and many fun events both in-house and in our community.

In this role you will be expected to confidently take ownership for each client interaction, supporting client needs by answering questions, providing advice, conducting research and assisting with problem resolution. It is critical to maintain excellent product knowledge with a focus on digital online banking services and have general knowledge of other financial service offerings in order to make appropriate referrals. Our small team ensures you gain that knowledge by providing customized 1:1 training for success.

You'll interact by phone, email and chat - which means that both spoken and written communication skills are key to success.

Our successful candidate will be comfortable cross-selling bank services and explaining accounts, pricing and interest rates while displaying a professional, positive tone.
