Pen Bay Medical Center has an immediate opening for a full time Physical Therapist to join our care team. The Physical Therapist plans and provides skilled Physical Therapy services, within the scope of their license, to inpatients and outpatients of all ages (pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric). Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to support quality, patient-focused care that maximizes the patient's functional level. Acts as a professional member of the patient care team.
Pen Bay Medical Center offers inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, patient and community education, and a full-range of specialty services through the Emergency Department, Special Care Unit, Surgical Care Center, Birth Center, Primary Stroke Center, Cancer Care Center and the Psychiatric Addiction & Recovery Center.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:Graduate from American Medical Association/American Physical Therapy approved curriculum in Physical Therapy.
License/Certifications:Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Maine.
Experience:Prefer one to two years' experience, however, will consider new graduates.
Fundamental skills in using PC with Windows Operating System (managing windows, files, programs, shortcuts, logins; ability to use a keyboard and mouse).
Effective communication skills, flexibility, ability to organize self around job at hand.
