The Department of Administrative and Financial Services is seeking a talented Human Resources professional to join our team in the General Government Service Center (GGSC).
Well-qualified candidates for this HR Manager opening will have a demonstrated ability to communicate, advise, and consult with others. If providing exceptional customer service and presenting a broad range of HR-related support and training to leadership are your strengths, consider applying to work with the General Government Service Center. As a Human Resource Manager with the GGSC you will use critical thinking, creativity, positivity and best practices to assist our agency in all human resources matters.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing high level human resources support to agency management including labor relations, investigations, employee perfomance management and related human resources functions.
In order to qualify, you must have professional level experience in human resources management. Preference may be given to candidates with significant experience in human resources, labor relations,The background of well-qualified candidates will demonstrate the following competencies:
+ Demonstrated ability and experience in providing a broad range of HR-related support and training to managers and supervisors, and sound decision making.
+ A successful history of providing exceptional customer service and partnering with agencies in providing meaningful HR services with an emphasis on being innovative.
+ Knowledge of and prior experience working with bargaining unit contracts and merit systems principles.
+ A demonstrated ability of working in a fast-paced team-based environment with proficiency in meeting shifting priorities.
