We are seeking a Mechanical or Chemical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work within multi-discipline project teams on manufacturing design projects for our clients in the Food & Beverage and Consumer Goods Industries. The candidate will collaborate with peers to understand the process, utility and packaging technology design requirements and develop solutions tailored to the client needs from conceptual design, through detailed engineering and start up. This individual may be expected to support the installation activities of new equipment, improvements to existing equipment, and commissioning efforts therein. Must be flexible for up to 20% travel.
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Though not required, 1-3 years experience as an engineer or consultant is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to perform field inspections to ensure adherence to contract specifications and industry standards.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
"Can do" positive attitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.
Additional skills that are a plus: MS Project & AutoCAD.
