    Facilities Operations Manager Pay Range: $60,000 Annually

    Facilities Operations Manager Schedule:  Full Time, 40 hours

    Facilities Operations Manager Start Date: ASAP


    The Facilities Operations Manager position in Bar Harbor, Maine is responsible for overseeing direct and indirect reports providing custodial, housekeeping, property management, mail/shipping/receiving/warehousing, employee transportation, switchboard, food service/catering/vending, records management, asset disposal services and programs throughout Maine campuses and provides guidance and assistance as needed to other campuses as well as leading, coaching and developing an effective team through staff development, performance management, compensation management, and succession planning. You will have a solid understanding of overseeing warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations ensuring timely delivery of incoming and outgoing products while assuring compliance with DOT, NHTSA, FHWA, and other related state and federal transportation regulations. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership skills and strong organizational skills. This is a full time position.  


    Facilities Operations Manager Qualifications: 

    • Associates degree and 5 years related experience in institutional, industrial, corporate, or hospitality environments..

    • Proven ability to organize department work functions in an efficient and effective manner leading to continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.

    • Customer service oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast paced environment.

    • Financial acumen to be able to evaluate cost of service proposals and firmly manage outsource contracts.

    • Strong computer skills and a demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications.
