Job Title: Part Time Accounting Assistant (#180243)

Accounting Assistant Pay Range: Starting at $20.00 hourly

Accounting Assistant Schedule: Flexible part-time hours, up to 20 hours per week. 8am-12pm, Mon-Wed for training.

The Part Time Accounting Assistant position in Trenton, Maine is responsible for assisting with accounts payables, receivables, general filing, tax documentation, and aspects of customer service as needed. You will have a solid understanding of payables, receivables, and general customer service. Successful candidates will be highly organized with strong analytical skills. This is a part time position.

Accounting Assistant Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma required

  • Accounting or financial certificate/degree preferred

  • Accounting and/or financial experience 

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and finance documentation

  • Proficiency with office technology and computers

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve

  • Customer-oriented with the ability to adapt 

  • Ability to work in a team environment
