SHELTER ATTENDANT–PART TIME (12 HRS)
Health and Human Services Department – Social Services Division – Family Shelter – Part-Time (12 hrs.), Project Position - Shelter Attendant needed to work day shifts at the City’s Family Shelter. Project, part time essential position (12 hours-two days per week): Saturday & Sunday, hours 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Duties include monitoring residents sleeping areas, conducting buildings safety checks, completing shelter intakes, shift reports and client census data, providing after hours general assistance and other duties as required. Requirements: Graduation from high school with experience in crisis intervention, mental illness, and substance abuse; or any combination of experience and training. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check. Preference for experience working with homeless population or experience working in a homeless shelter. Pay range starting at $18.51/hour.
