The Senior Project Manager oversees a suite of cross-functional projects by working closely with the Product Solutions team, internal and external stakeholders, and project team members to ensure successful project delivery meeting all business needs, project requirements and deadlines. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for creating and managing project artifacts, managing communications between cross-functional departments within the Product Organization, identifying and mitigating risks, identifying and resolving issues, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring project outcomes are delivered successfully.
+ Track and manage communications amongst internal and external stakeholders
+ Drive project leadership to define the high-level strategy, establish deliverables, and set achievable goals for each stage of the project.
+ Develop, maintain and publish KPIs that track project quality, delivery and predictability.
+ Analyze project risks and develop mitigation plan with project team.
+ Ensure coordination of efforts of all cross-functional team members in consultation with Project sponsor/project stakeholders.
+ Establish and maintain a highly cooperative environment and foster collaboration across all areas.
+ 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Project Management, Business, or equivalent discipline OR appropriate combination of experience and education.
+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience (5 preferred) overseeing multiple, large-scale projects as the project lead.
+ Knowledge of project management concepts, tools and activities, including Smartsheet, Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
+ Educational Industry experience a plus.
+ Proven ability to manage complex large-scale projects under significant constraints using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ High degree of personal ownership and accountability to consistently deliver results in a fast-paced and high-profile environment.
+ Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills; demonstrated ability to establish positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position can expect a starting salary range of $70,000-$80,000 (depending on experience), and are eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan. Benefits available to eligible employees can be seen at: https://pearsonbenefitsus.com/
