Job Description

Cooks are the indispensable drivers of customer satisfaction at Bad Little Brewing. They are skilled, passionate stewards of our fresh ingredients and are committed to keeping costs down by responsibly handling product. They are devoted to ensuring the highest quality of taste and health standards. Cooks need to have the following:

  • strong knife skills
  • an understanding of scratch-made food and ability to follow a recipe  
  • a commitment to limiting waste 
  • the desire to maintain high standards for the final product
  • the ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • a positive team attitude & willingness to learn
  • the ability to take feedback and to strive for improvement
  • a repertoire of cooking techniques appropriate to the ingredients and style of dish
  • willingness to assist apprentice cooks
  • a skill set associated with a specialty position if appropriate (e.g., prep cook)
