Job Description

We are currently looking for a Year-round Housekeeping Manager to be responsible for the Daily Operations of the Housekeeping Department in one of the premier hotels on the southern Maine coast.
This position is part of the Hotel Management Team and works closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager.
You must have a friendly, professional and outgoing personality. A positive Team approach is a must.
Minimum of 3 years Housekeeping Supervisory experience is a must.

Duties include:
Organizing the Housekeeping Team operations.
Absolute attention to the smallest detail with a “can do” attitude.
Assigning weekly schedules along with a daily cleaning tasks schedule.
Supervising our on site Laundry operations.
Inspection of all guest rooms and public spaces.
Ensuring appropriate inventory levels and maintaining accurate records.
Assist in the direction and training of the Housekeeping Team
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Excellent decision making skills.
Computer skills required. Must have a flexible schedule, and be available to work weekends and holidays.
