Position Purpose: Store Operations Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to administer operational programs in all stores. They maintain and develop tools and resources that stores use for daily operations. This individual will facilitate the collection, drafting, field testing and scheduling of all SOP releases to stores. They will monitor trends and facilitate the reporting for operational measures. Provide operations project support and administrative backup for store communications and systems.Responsibilities:

+ Owns current operations program administration and oversight to include supply catalog, store rep recognition, purchasing cards and operational postings. Responsible for process improvement and day to day decision making

+ Owns the accuracy and updates of store operational resources, SOP’s and tools that are used for store task planning, which includes delivery schedules and compliance reporting.

+ Represent stores during meetings and coordinated projects in partnership with other departments (Logistics, Allocations, QA, Finance, HR, Facilities, LP, Fulfillment, and Procurement)

+ Own Store Operations content maintenance and development including standard operating procedures, manuals and job aids

+ Operational content collection and delivery to support ongoing education initiatives, morning meetings, communication tools, leadership conferences and seasonal manuals

+ Owner of the Store Operations support phone line and generic email address. Responsible for the proper delegation of store need, escalation and store follow-up to resolution

+ Responsible for web updates of customer facing operational information

+ Supports the new store opening organization and logistical support for travel and non-product

+ Supports Store Operations initiatives and projects as needed

+ Acts as back-up support for Intranet postings and general communications

+ Excellent understanding of retail operations and familiarity with business objectives

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills / technical writing desired

+ Detail oriented and driven by finding operational efficiencies

+ General business/process curiosity with strong problem solving and analytical skills

+ Sound business judgment with general understanding of financial reporting / P&L

+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changeable environment

+ Self-starter; highly motivated and a sense of urgency

+ Ability to schedule and prioritize workload effectively

+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; Excellent PC Skills

+ Recent store experience at the lead level or above desired

+ Coordinate and work on a multitude of tasks for the department (seasonal projects, special events and meetings).

+ Function as back-up to support department when members travel or take time off.

+ Interacts and partners with Home Office Departments on Store-related tasks to stores.

+ Maintain current operating manuals, updating content as necessary.
