Position Description:

The Sexual Assault Services Supervisor assists the Program Director of Prevention and Sexual Assault Services with the day-to-day operations of Sexual Assault Services (SAS) and Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) in support of the mission and goals of the agency and the services.  In carrying out this responsibility, the Supervisor works with other managers and supervisors, as-appropriate, to ensure service continuity and effectiveness within the program and across other AMHC programs.


Responsibilities & Expectations:

    • Keep client and company information confidential.
    • Follow all required safety rules and regulations.
    • Work as a member of the team in the performance of duties.
    • Perform duties in a conscientious, cooperative manner.
    • Maintain a positive attitude.
    • Must be able to engage and interact with individuals from different races, cultures, sexual orientations and abilities.
    • Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe.
  • Provide supervision, leadership and professional development to Sexual Assault staff.

Qualifications:

    • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred.
    • Must be a trained Sexual Assault Advocate and have 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to travel and provide reliable, insured transportation
