Job Description

Lafayette South Portland Inc., DBA Best Western Merry Manor Inn in South Portland, ME seeking full-time Guest Services Representative. Duties: Greeting hotel guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed; administering guest check-ins and check-outs; providing front desk services to guests; assigning rooms to guests; properly filing guest folios; processing rooming lists for incoming groups; logging all guests requests, work orders, and or complaints; maintaining front desk pass on log book; maintaining guest lost and found log and shipping items back to guests; adhering to all safety procedures and inform management of any unsafe conditions; maintaining shuttle reservation book; attending meetings and training as required; delivering mail and messages to the appropriate parties at the hotel; processing guest payments; coordinating with bell service and staff management to assists guests; being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant. Must wear a uniform and name tag. Must be able to work flexible hours/shifts including weekends and evenings as required. Email resume to isabel@merrymanorinn.com.
