Bargaining Unit/Anticipated Salary Range: MSEA Support Services; Level 8; $16.54/hour
Responsibilities: Provides customer service and clerical/data entry support to the Financial Aid Office. Primary responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for students and prospective students with questions about financial aid and veterans’ benefits. Communicates professionally in person, over the telephone, through email and other digital means with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma and a minimum of one year of experience in higher education customer service required. Advanced experience working with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and computer database systems required. Associates degree in Business Management, Office Technology, Office Assistant, Human Services or related field preferred.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of financial aid, registration, admissions, student information systems and experience in registrar, financial aid, educational counseling or student accounts highly desired.
