Kingfish Maine Kingfish Maine is the extension of the location we have established at Kingfish Zeeland in the Netherlands. We are going to build a facility that is the next scale up for our organization. Building our new location, we offer a fresh local product to the U.S. market.   Our fish farms are Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). We clean our water on the way in to make sure our fish have optimal conditions but we also clean our water on the way out to minimize our impact on the environment. By operating in a closed environment, we are able to produce our fish without any antibiotics, vaccines, hormones or medications. We heat and filter the water we extract from the ocean, we re-use it on the farm and clean it again before we send it back.  That is the most innovative part and what makes the company successful in producing fish in a sustainable way, on a large scale.   At Kingfish we share the passion to create an innovative and sustainable food system and you are encouraged to produce ideas for improvement at all levels. You have a unique insight into the product, processes, technology, and clients. It is in our nature to constantly evolve our product, processes, and technology, to make use of our creativity, and improve the client experience of our product.
